Preparation Steps

Chop fish waste finely. Mix 1:1 with jaggery.

Place in container. Cover with cloth (not airtight).

Press down and keep weighted to exclude air pockets.

Ferment 3–6 months at room temperature.

Drain liquid from bottom. Filter and store in dark bottles.
